Thanks to everyone who came along to the weekend workshops and courses that were held in the Butterfly Garden or at Wooplaw Woods this year. You made a record number (80 stools and chairs in local willow and hardwoods) Brilliant effort from all of you.

For 2012 we have decided by huge demand to run the course under a new title of The Big Tree Society (http://www.thebigtreesociety.co.uk). On this site you will find a list of new ideas that we (and you) have had for courses. See what you think - if you enjoyed the greenwood working days you might like what we have on offer for next year.

We always carry pieces of upcycled or recycled textiles felts, ceramics. Come and have a look for some inspirational work reinventing themselves as cushions, scarves, bags, jewellery.

We have been making a new line in spatulas, butter knives and spreaders in yew, walnut and elm. These are beautifully made and finished with proceeds going to our 25th Year celebrations in 2012 at Wooplaw Community Woods.
