Pete Hallam's work is stunning !!! He has the touch of the great contemporary
British painters. His landscapes would rival any of the great oil artists
working today. The colour and depth of technique has to be seen to be truely
appreciated. Pete's work is his life - whether it be his portraiture, pencil
drawings or monochrome studies his work is very contemplative and considered.

Alan has just finished a busy year of shows and exhibitions and has retired to his winter studio in the Borders ! His landscapes have been admired and aclaimed for over forty years. Our visitors are always drawn to his subtle and transfixing Border landscapes. These are all fairly wintery scenes but will warm any wall. His signature rooks can be found hanging in his huge skies.
Tom Ewing brought this big study of Dean Village into the gallery for us this week. He just gets better and better this young lad. The subliminal Scottish talks at you through this work. Big painting, big frame, big future for this lad we think.
