Tansy Lee Moir is a real observer of trees. She immerses herself (and the viewer) in the forms and texture of the heritage trees of our Scottish landscape. Her sensitive style gets you right into the bark and body of the trees that she spends hours with. Working in the field her wish is "to review and develop ideas around ancient trees, ancient woods, wood pasture and the ideas of shadows, ghosts and retired veterans" . Well ..... these beautifully executed tree studies are as good as you will get ... letting us see, with her eyes what's been left in the landscape. So, so .... good !
